     This fun new (Released May 1st) app from Dodomeki has made it's way to the app store.
     It's essentially a Magic 8-Ball... but much cuter.  You ask the tiny witch/sorceress a question (Yes or No questions only), concentrate... click the crystal ball... And she answers you.  Sometimes it's good news, sometimes less so... Sometimes it's hazy.  But she's always adorable.
     I like the fact that she not only gives you an answer, but speaks as well (Though the written text is in English, she speaks in Japanese).  The little character is also a bit animated when she responds.
     This simple idea would be enough for an app, however they went a little further.  They added a simple mini game that you can also play.  The game is to practice and improve your "psychic ability".
     The mini game gives you a closed box and a choice of 4 different fruit.  A strawberry, cherries, a peach and an apple.  You try to figure out which one is inside of the box.  Concentrate... Make your choice... Then drag the fruit you chose to the box.  The box will then open and reveal what was inside.
     You teacher (The Owl) will record your score based on 15 rounds.  How many fruit did you guess correctly?  the better you do, the better your rating.  At the end of the game he will give you some words of encouragement.  Play as many times as you like.  Try to get a perfect score!
     As for options, you can adjust the sound, but that's about it.  It's not a very complex application.  You also have links to the Dodomeki Twitter, Facebook and Homepage on the main screen.

     I really enjoyed this application.  I'm glad I purchased it.  I don't follow the company, so I am not familiar with the characters.  I am so glad they lowered the price from 1.99 to 99 cents.  It's a great application.  I recommend downloading.  I hope to see more apps from them in the future.
