Rage of Bahamut

Rage of Bahamut App for iPhone
Remember trading card games?  Maybe you never forgot them to begin with.  This is a virtual trading card game.  Collect, trade, and build strong decks to battle your friends, and defeat your foes.
I'm not one for card games, but I have played many in my youth.  Munchkin, Lunch Money, Magic the Gathering, Animayhem, Sailor moon, Pokemon... Yes, I'm a bit of a dork.  And no, I don't lay them anymore.  However, this game looked rather interesting to me, and I thought I'd give it a try.
Let me start by saying that the artwork in this game is spectacular.  They have a really spot on team of artists working for them.  Clearly the cards are not all drawn by the same artists.  Each artist seems to have their own style and flair that they add to their cards.  It's really fun to collect them just for the eye candy.  But wait... you can also use them to play the game?  Amazing...
There are 3 denominations to choose from.  Are you on the side of the gods?  The demons?  Or are you with the humans (man)?  Don't worry too much about the cards having denominations.  You can use all of the cards, despite your denomination.  But remember that if you do use cards that match the side you chose, you'll get better stats.  It can really help in one on one battles.
Myself?  I chose the side of the gods.  Why?  I have a thing for angels, fairies, unicorns and other such whimsical creatures that happen to be on this side.  The demons has succubus, demon dogs, skeletons, vampires and such.  Man has knights, hunters, thieves, gypsies, dancers, princesses and other such human type creatures.
Basically there are 2 ways to use these cards.  You can battle other players using your "ATK" stats.  Battling will diminish these points.  You'll have to wait for them to regenerate after a battle, before battling again.  You can also choose to use an item to replenish your stats instantly.  The more wins you have, the higher your ranking with the other players.  Some Orders (Guilds) require a certain level of commitment to join.  A good win loss ratio would help you with this.  When you win a match you receive Rupies (Coins).  The amount differs based on the battle and how well you did.  How high a level you were compared to them.  And how much coinage they happened to have on them.  You can also choose to battle for treasures.  In which case you could win a special treasure if you win the match.
The other way to get ahead in this game is to go through the quests.  You can defeat random bad guys fairly easily.  As long as you have the stamina to attack them, you beat them.  When you defeat a certain amount you'll find a treasure chest.  Inside is a card or a treasure (or Rupies).  I personally try to get every possible reward for each section of the quests before moving forward.  I'm always afraid I'll miss out on something important if I just speed through the quests.  Just remember to keep track of your stamina.  Unlike the battle option, questing uses stamina points.  And the further you go into the quests, the more stamina it's going to take to proceed.
Questing will raise your layer level.  this does not affect your card levels or stats.  What it does is allows you more attribute points.  These points can be placed in DEF, ATK or stamina.  many people try to level quickly by getting their stamina up to 100 first, before doing anything with the other 2 stats.  If you auto assign your stats it will level them all evenly.  As for me, I tend to have each state evenly spread apart.  Stamina has the most points.  Then attack (Since I start many battles), and lastly defense.  I don't get attacked very often, but I have enough there to use my defense deck.
Your defense stats are what get consumed when someone battles you (They initiate).  You do not need to be present for this.  It will use your assigned defense deck.  If you haven't made one it makes one for you.  Don't worry, it's usually a very good deck.  It bases it off of the points the card requires, as compared to the points you have.  And the highest defensive stats per card.  What it doesn't take into consideration are abilities.  Which is why it might be wise to start creating your own decks, once you have a large collection of cards.
If they defeat you, they'll take some of your coins, and you tack a loss onto your score.  If they lose, you get a win and some of their coins.
So how do you improve your cards?  Leveling them via "enhance" and evolving them.  I will recommend that if you intend to evolve a card, do 'not' enhance it until the evolution has been maxed out.  When you evolve a card that has been enhanced, it's level goes back to one.  This undoes all the work you put into leveling it.  As a card is evolved the character drawing will change slightly.  Some cards more so than others.  The more rare cards generally have a greater change in appearance via evolution.  Leveling a card does not change it's appearance, only it's stats.
To evolve a card you need multiple versions of the same card.  You can evolve a card 3 times (4 stages total).  once it hits it's final evolution it will be maxed out for evolution.  This is when you need to begin enhancing it's stats.
To enhance a card you use cards you don't need or want.  they can 'not' be the same card as the one you are enhancing (IE you can't use a hobbit lad to enhance a hobbit lad).  You'll come across a lot of extra junk cards you don't need or want during your questing.  These are very useful for enhancing your cards.
There are other ways to receive cards.  you can choose to pay real money.  if you do this you'll receive rare and higher cards only.  No small fries for paying customers.  However, I'm not one for paying for game items.  Are you the same way?  Good luck has smiled upon you.  You can also get free card packs.  Once a day when you log in you'll get a free card pack with a single random card inside.  You'll also get friendship points.  You can use these points to buy friendship packs.  Each pack has one card.  These cards can be any level of rarity.
You can also gain friendship points through adding fellows (friends) and when people you invite to your order decide to join.  As well as once a day when you tweet about the game via the app.  When you tweet about it for 10 days you'll even get a free rare card!
Your leader card represents your account.  It is the card image everyone will see at the top of your profile and the battle screen.  When you begin playing, your leader is your first card.  However, you can change this whenever you like, once you have more cards.  Your leader card will also be your card during quest boss battles and will be the attack you use during quest mode (Succubus leader cards make your attacks look like tiny hearts.  A Dryad makes your attacks look like leafy vine whips and so on).  This is not necessarily the card that will be used during battles against other players or during limited time event bosses.  Your leader card does not need to be part of your chosen deck.
Let's talk briefly about orders.  You can choose to either create your own or to join someone else's.  I'm not much for guilds and such so I was originally going to skip this business all together.  However, they have special events that give you extra rare cards and items for being in a good order.  I found this reason to be good enough for me to create an order.  I was able to single handed get my order (Which at the time was just me and 2 inactive users) up to the top 8000 orders in the event (Just using my own stats), in 3 days.  Because of this I'll end up getting some special items from that event.
They have events fairly often, so keep an eye out should you decide to start playing this game.
Because I love the artwork in this game so much, I'm going to put a few pretty cards below for you to look at.  This will give you a basic idea of what the cards look like.  Remember, any image can be clicked on here to enlarge it.

When you complete the tutorial in the beginning of the game you will have the chance to add a promotional referral code.  This code will award you 100,000 Rupies and a rare card.  This will be your only chance to enter this code.  You can not enter it later. When prompted type in: "hon48766".  Once you have your card and coins you'll be able to share this game with your friends by using your own promotional/referral code.  Then they can also get free coins and a rare card.  Spread the love around!
I really enjoyed this game more than I initially thought I would.  Just be careful, it can be a bit addictive.  I would recommend this game to anyone who likes trading card games, enjoys art or mythical creatures/fantasy gaming, or anyone just looking for a fun free game to pass the time.
Now, I generally add suggestions to my reviews, that could be implemented to improve the app and gaming experience.  This review will be no different.  There is one issue I have with this, that really bugs me.  There is no audio in the game.  No music, sound effects... Absolute silence.  So one might think "That's fine.  I'll listen to my music on my iPhone while I play my app"... Wrong.  Any audio you have running on your device turns off when you select this as your active app.  So you have no choice but to sit there in complete silence or find some other source of music or background noise via your tele or analog radio.  Please fix this, app creators!  It's such an easy fix, and would improve the experience.

Diet Point

Diet Point App for iPhone
Diet Point is a companion app for anyone trying to lose weight, maintain their weight or just generally eat right.  It's currently free, but it wont be for long!  And considering how pricey it is, you might want to get it now, or not at all (Unless you're really serious about dieting.  Then you may be willing to spend the extra money).
Remember, buying this application does not give you full access.  You have to pay for a membership if you want access to all of the content.  Personally I think that if you're going to charge for the app, they shouldn't also charge you for the membership.  That's just highway robbery.
Here's what you get with the paid app, minus the membership content.
You get access to the forums where you can meet other people who are dieting with this app.  Discuss your diets.  Discuss workouts and trade recipes.  There's even a place to just casually chit chat about whatever you like.  Just don't expect a lot of replies.  I posted a few times, commented a few times.  I may as well have been a fly on the wall.  No one ever replied to me.
You get access to the free diet plans.  There's a few diet plans available.  Not a ton, but a decent amount.  These diet plans are for losing small amounts of weight.  They have a set amount of days for you to stick with, a meal plan for each day, and even provide you with a shopping list so you'll know what to purchase at the grocery market.
You can set alarm reminders for when it's time for you to eat.  I like to set mine for 8AM breakfast, 10AM morning snack, 12PM Lunch, 2:30PM afternoon snack and 5PM supper.  That way they are fairly evenly spread out.  When you check to see what you are able to eat for that meal, they will also give you a random diet tip at the bottom that may or may not relate to what it's telling you to eat.
If you want to scroll ahead to see what you are eating later, or scroll back to see what you ate earlier, just swipe the screen from side to side.
You also have a profile where you can add your weight, your photo and some other information.
Premium members (People with the membership) have access to more diets.  The premium diets are supposed to cause more weight loss.  You can browse these diets but it wont allow you to try them, check the shopping lists or see all of the meal plans.  They can also export their diets.
So far I have tried one diet.  My husband tried the same diet.  I am going to start another diet in a week or so.  The diet we tried was called "Summer Detox" and is available in the free diet section.  It's a 5 day diet that makes you feel hungry through out the entire time.  Basically because you're eating very little.  Here's how it went...
I lost 9 LBS on this diet (From 120 to 111 in 5 days).  Most of it stayed off.  I am currently 113, two weeks later.  I stuck to the plan and went about my normal routine.  Walking, doing house chores, cooking delicious meals for my family that I wasn't allowed to eat (Oh, the horror... It's like torture!).  I weighed myself every day at the same time (9PM), just before bed.  It's important to always weigh yourself at the same time every day.  Because your weight fluctuates through out the day.  This will give you the most accurate reading.  It was rough, but I was happy with the end results.  It basically flushes everything out of your body.  So be prepared to be visiting the loo a lot.
My husband does his dieting a bit differently.  He made sure the first 3 days of his diet were over a 3 day weekend.  During these 3 days all he did was sleep.  He woke up to eat, took a nap, woke up to eat, played a game for a while, took another nap.  Lather, rinse, repeat.  This causes very little fat burning to occur.  Yes, he's taking in less calories, but sleeping right after eating causes those calories to all be stored, rather than burned.  He didn't regularly weigh himself but he speculates that he lost under one pound.  He was also incredibly cranky through out the 5 days.  Though, admittedly, I was very whiny over my 5 day diet ("I'm so hungry... Why is everything on tele about food!?!").
In closing, I believe this is a good application.  It's useful.  I love the shopping list function.  I would really like to see them add a check list function to it.  It would make the shopping far easier if you were able to check things off of the list.  I have noticed that a lot of the diets do a sort of carousel food plan.  Meaning you are eating similar foods on a solid rotation.  I'd like to see an "alternate meal plan" option that allows you to switch up the routine.  Say I'm eating Tomato soup on day 1 for lunch, and vegetable soup for day 2...  Maybe I want to eat vegetable soup both days instead.  You should be allowed to click a button to make this alteration to your meal plan.  Say I don't like grape fruit and would like to substitute a large orange.  There should be an ability to do this.
Speaking of what you should be able to do... They give you a daily calorie limit for your height and weight... but they don't give you any calorie calculations on your daily meal plans.  This should absolutely be added.  They should also allow adjustments based on your BMI.  A larger person should not have the same diet as a tiny person.
It's a good application, but if they insist on having a membership fee for the additional diet content, the application itself should be free.  Or, alternatively, if you want to make it a paid app, dismiss the membership fee.  Double dipping is rude.  No one likes an empty wallet.  Because of their prices, I am forced to lower the rating.  It's just too much in my opinion. (In case you were wondering, it's $44.99 for a one year membership, 14.99 for 3 months)

Magic Tree

Magic Tree App for iPhone
This is a fun and cute game for people who enjoy games that allow you to decorate your own tiny part of the world.  Farming, decorating, socializing and even battling bad guys.  This is a mix of all the more popular points people enjoy from social media games.
This game is brought to you by the people at COM2US.  I already had an account set up there so starting this game was easy.  You can also sign up as a guest, if you don't have a COM2US account already, or don't wish to set one up (It's free to do so).
Some COM2US games are free, others are pay games.  All of their games have in game features you can purchase.  However, purchasing those features is optional.  You never need to make any real money purchases to go forward in the game.  It's really just all cute fluff and so on.
You may be wondering why my character looks a bit boyish... That is because he's a boy.  Why is he a boy? COM2US seems to believe I am of the male persuasion, and as such makes all of my game characters male.  Do not ask me why.  I find it a bit irritating.  But I will live  I tried to make him look more like a female tomboy.
This is your tiny plot of land, where your character lives.  it's high up on a mountain top (I think?) and the only way to get there is by air ship.  Despite that, don't think you are alone.  Fierce animals will enter your land and attack you every now and then.  Be ready to battle bears, foxes and other such pesky visitors.  It will cost stamina to attack them.  And you'll need a weapon (Generally you can use your ax or mallet that you obtained for gathering rock, wood and other materials).
You have a set amount of stamina, depending upon your level.  The stamina increases by one, every 5 minutes.  Once it's maxed out it will not increase until you use some of it.  You can also eat food to retain your stamina.  But food costs stars (Real money) so use your stamina wisely.
Sometimes you receive food as a reward for visiting neighbors/friends or completing goals.  You also obtain coins and experience points for completing goals.  Your friend the fox girl will give you these goals.  She is there to help you learn to live in this world.  You can also fly over and visit her land as well.
When visiting a friend's land you can help them by watering their plants, chopping their trees, harvesting their vegetables and so on.  You can also say hello.  This will increase your friendship bond with that person.
You will be expected to build many new buildings and plant vegetables.  Plant trees and collect their fruit.  Chop trees down to collect the wood for building with.  Protect your land from wild animals, raise your own animals, decorate your area with plants and playground equipment.  You can ride the equipment without needing stamina.  Doing this ears you money and experience (Not sure how... If riding something gave me money, you had best believe I'd be at the playground all day).
You may wonder what this has to do with a magic tree, yes?  When you gather seeds and such from certain plants you can mix them together to make special magic seeds.  These magic seeds grow magic trees that are very special.  You can gather special ingredients from these trees.
You can change your character's clothing by visiting the clothing shoppe (Once you have built one).  However, the selection is not vast.  Half of the clothing is for males, half for females.  You can not cross dress.  Half of the items cost stars, half cost coins.  I found this to be a bit unfortunate.  All of the decent clothing costs real money.  And not a small amount either.  I could buy some clearance clothing for the price of digital clothing in this game.  So I decided to stick to the coin clothing.  However, even that is expensive. It's a shame my character can't learn to be a tailor.  He'd make a fortune in this world!
The graphics are cute, and I like the variety of playground items and such.  The planting is your basic social game planting.  Different items take different amounts of time to grow.  So grow items according to your daily schedule, or you'll be waking up and 4AM to pluck your pumpkins.  it costs one stamina to harvest a garden section.  No stamina to plant it.  So be careful not to plant more than you can harvest.
I like the scenes the game gives you for certain things such as when a wild animal appears, when you play on your rides, when you greet a friend and so on.  You also get a scene when coming home or visiting someone else's.  Though I tend to skip the scenes because they get old after you see the same scene 5 times.  Below is a video I found of the game's promotion.
The music and sound effect volume can be increased or decreased, depending on your preference.
Overall it's a nice game.  It has very few crash problems (But there are a few).  The game can be a bit confusing at times as not everything is explained and there isn't really anywhere you can go in game to find answers.
I don't tend to enjoy social games like this (Farmville, Zombie Farm, Cityville, etc).  They tend to be rather time consuming and needy.  By needy I mean you constantly 'need' to go back and do something with your game.  It isn't just a "play at your leisure" sort of game.  It also causes the need for friends.  Most of which are people you do not know, that you only friended in order to advance in the game.  However, I am aware that these kinds of games are quite popular.  If that's the sort of game you enjoy, this game is worth a try.  It's free right now (Promotional), so if you want to try it, go for it now.  If you wait, you'll end up paying full price for it.

Disney Memories

Disney Memories App for iPhone
Going to a Disney park with your iPhone?  make some fun and cute Disney memories with this Disney themed photo editing application.
You don't need to be at a park to add a little Disney to your photos.  Just load up any photo and add frames and stickers with Mickey, Donald and other fun Disney characters.
No, let it be known that I love Disney.  Especially classic Disney characters and Disney parks.  That being said, i dislike the limitations of this application.  I was really hoping for more content and more usability.
One thing I do love is that when you start the camera up to take a photo, rather than using one you already have in your album, Tinkerbell flies across the camera screen and uses her wand to add a little Disney magic and pixie dust to your photo.  This feature really makes me smile.
Whether you take a photo or load one, you then have a very small selection of frames to choose from.  Next you can add a single sticker.  That's right... not an unlimited amount... just one.  If you choose another sticker, the first sticker is then removed from your photo.  The only way around this is to say it with the first sticker, then reload that edited photo to add a second sticker.  Save again and continue this process until you have all the desired stickers on the photo.
Now as if only allowing one sticker weren't bad enough, the sticker selection itself is rather scarce.  You 'can' add more by clicking the "unlock the magic" button on the title screen.  But still, it's just a hand full of stickers.
There is also a filter tool.  You have your basic colour tints, sepia, blue, pink and teal.  Adding one of these filters removes all decorations from the photo.  If you try adding a frame after tinting your photo, it will remove the tint from your photo.  As well as if you try adding a sticker.  Who programmed this application?  Is it really so hard to have a filter and a sticker?... Every other photo edit program seems to manage it just fine...
When you are finished click "use photo".  You can then add some text to your photo.  Share it online and save it to your photo album.
I was really hoping for a bit more from this application.  Especially with my love of Disney.  But I can't be bias.  I would not really recommend this application if you're really into photo editing/decoration.  It isn't going to be very useful.  If you just want to tint your photos or add a simple Disney frame, this could be nice for you.  After all, it's free.  But I would really like to see them improving this.
I would love to see them add the ability to have a tint and frame/sticker at the same time.  Make the ability to add multiple stickers.  Also, increase the amount of decorations available.  If they did that, I would give them a higher score for sure.

Keitai Guardian En

Keitai Guardian En App for iPhone
This (Released this month) is essentially a dating simulation game.  You have these odd dreams or memories every night.  You are greeted by a gentleman who tells you that you are important (And here your character just thought she was a generic school girl) and that you must choose a guardian to help you and protect you.
The artwork is nice, the story (As far as I have seen) seems interesting.  They have voice overs (All in Japanese) with English text to read when characters speak.  Of course your parts have no voice over.  You'll have to just read out loud, I suppose.
I 'would' think this to be a nice application since this was a free download... however... Once you get a couple minutes into the game and have to choose your guardian (From a set of 3).  Once you choose your fellow you are prompted to pay for their story... Not 99 cents?... Oh no, that would be far too reasonable.  You are prompted to pay $7.49 (USD) for the rest of the game.  As if that isn't a low blow in itself, you have to pay an additional $7.49 for the story of each additional guardian, should you choose to play back through with a different character.  That is highway robbery in my book.  I could see maybe paying 5 dollars for the game... if it included all 3 character's stories... But more than seven dollars a piece?  I think not.
If you decide to purchase this game, let me know how it played out.  I was impressed by the intro part, but not enough to dish out the money they were asking for.
Alright, let's go over the extra features before I give my final score.  You can lower or raise the volume.  input your own name so the guardians refer to you by what you wish them too (They wont say your name out loud.  Just in the text box, mind you).  You can reset the name in the options, should you decide to.  You can play through 3 stories, one for each guardian.  And lastly there is a gallery mode.  the gallery mode includes the images of the guardians that you have unlocked through the story mode.  Naturally all 3 stories would need to be purchased if you want the full gallery.
Alright, because of the price, I cant give this game the rating I'd like to.  Especially since without paying for it, I can't really play much of it.  I'm giving it pluses for good artwork and voice acting.  But negatives for the price and lack of free content.
I think it has the potential to be a decent game.  Remember that this may have adult content, considering it is a dating simulation game.  Keep that in mind when purchasing this for yourself or someone else.  it might not be a good choice for a 10 year old girl, for example.  Give the free intro play through a try and see where you want to go from there.  If you feel it's worth the money or have a lot of spare cash lying around, I say go for it.  But for me... It was just too highly priced for my taste.  Especially considering I know how much coding goes into games like this.  It's really not hard to make.

Heart Fitness

Heart Fitness App for iPhone
How healthy is your heart?  this app may be able to help you answer that question.  What does it do?  It reads your pulse and tells you how high (or low) your heart rate is.  Don't be put off by the one displayed, I have a strangely fast heart beat.  Even when I'm sleeping, it's beating quickly.  That's just me.  This application actually reads your beats per minute very accurately.  Much better than the pulse reader on my stationary bike.  And we paid a lot of money for that.
Just press the "Measure" button and gently press your index finger against your back camera on your phone.  Keep it still.  Stay calm and breath normally.  It will take a moment for it to get a good reading.  It will let you know when it is done.
It will then present you with your heart rate along with a chart to show how healthy that rate is.  Please note that there are multiple pages here.  Side swipe to access the other information provided for you.
It will give you more information about what the numbers mean and where you should be.  This information can be accessed later if you like by clicking the Training tab.  However, if you re-measure your heart rate, this information will update to fit your new reading.
There is a "Curve" chart, which could be very useful to you if you would like to track your heart rate through out your day to day life.  However, this option is only available for the one time fee of 99 cents.  I opted not to purchase this, but it does show a nice sample to give you an idea on how this might look, should you choose to use it.  If you are very health conscious or suffer from certain heart related ailments, this tracking method might be a good idea for you.  The price is not too bad.   I would say it's reasonable.
If you select the More tab you have two options, User and Buddies.  User allows you to fill in any personal information about yourself.  Gender, birth date, height, weight and what not.  You will always be an anonymous user unless you register online.  However, this information will always be there for you to review or change on your phone.
You can also invite friends to download the application.  In which case you can add them to your buddy list and track one another's heart rates.  This also requires registration, however.
I like this application.  It's useful and serves a purpose.  the reading is accurate and it is free (For the most part).  I certainly approve.  If you are looking for a free heart rate application, I would suggest giving this one a try.

Sentimental Circus Twippa

Sentimental Circus Twippa App for iPhone
Twippa is a way to update your Twitter account or read your feed via your phone.  It can not access your direct messages or delete posts, but you can create new posts, reply and read entries from people you follow.  You can check your @s as well.
You have 3 wallpapers you can choose from to use in this application.  Each one featuring San-X's Sentimental Circus.
You can also decorate your tweets with a selection of images that would then be attached to the tweets you post.
I really enjoy this application as it comes in handy while I am out.  I don't have a texting plan so I am able to update my Twitter on my phone via this application, without it costing me money to do so via text message.
Another fun feature of this is that you can attach more than one account to it.  Logging out of one and into another is almost seamless.  This is very useful to people who may have multiple accounts.  Say one is a business account and one for personal posts.  or one your family knows about and one they don't.
I love the fact that this is free.  I have seen Twippa applications that were not.  I would recommend this to any San-X fans or Twitter users who enjoy adorable looking applications.
If I were to make any suggestions to improve this application... I would like to see "@ notifications" so you know when people have commented directly to you.  Or a larger selection of wallpapers.  Otherwise, this application is spot on.

Zombie Farm

Zombie Farm App for iPhone
If you're a fan of games like Farmville, Cityville and other such things, you'll likely enjoy this game.  Especially if you like zombie themed things.
For me, I can only play a game like this for a short time, and then I get bored of it.  However, I know that there are people who can lay these games obsessively.  Remember, too much gaming is no good!  Pace yourself.  Remember not to let your gaming habits get in the way of your daily life.
     Now onto the game specifics...
First off it's a farm.  You plant fruits and vegetables, you harvest them when they are grown.  you earn money.  Basic concept, really.  Each kind of plant has a particular grow time.  If you come back too long after the plant has matured, it will expire and you'll have to remove it, and plant something else in the lot.
Your farm plots can take up as much space as you feel comfortable with.  Just want 3 plots?  That's fine.  Want the entire farm to be one huge plot... Alright!  Just remember that you can't plant any decorations over farm plots.  Should you decide later you want to remove your plot/s, you can do so.  So don't worry.
What does any of that have to do with zombies, right?  You can also plant zombies... Do not ask... I have no idea.  Apparently your farmer has a lot of dead bodies and the ability to reanimate them in her magical farm soil.
There are many kinds of zombies to choose from.  Each with it's own unique pros and cons.  Why would that matter?  Because you can battle your zombies against evil... zombie hating... bad guys.  Yes, it's a very unique concept.
The more your zombies battle without dying, the more powerful they become.  But if you do lose a few of your troops, it's alright, you can just grow some more.  Just remember you can only bring so many into battle with you.
You can only fight a bad guy when your zombies are hungry.  A content zombie isn't going to do you any good.  if you are impatient there are actually items you can use to make your zombies hungry faster.  When you see the little brain icon over their head, you'll know they want to eat someone.  And it's time to invade!
There are many opponents that your zombie squad can go up against.  They change up the list for certain holidays and events.  You can only go up against people that are the correct level for you and your zombies though.  So you'll gradually progress down the list, as you obtain more experience and levels in the game.
When you beat the bad guys you get experience, gold and items.  You can also purchase items and decor through the shopping selection.  Planting and harvesting crops will gain you experience and gold as well.
They have many decorations to choose from that you can use to make your farm unique to your taste.  The items available for purchase change through out the year.  So if there is a limited item, get it while you can!
Some items cost brains.  Brains are the "real money" payment method (Where as gold is free).  Don't worry though.  You can also earn brains in the game.  It's just a very slow paced earning.  if you don't have the patience for this, you can always spend real money.
I really like the comics they come up with every now and then in the game.  They are usually little 3 panel silly comics for the zombies.  Sometimes related to an event or holiday.  Sometimes it's just some silly concept they came up with to make you smile.
So in closing I would say that this is a good game.  it's fun and I enjoyed it.  I got tired of it after about a month or so.  but again, that's just how I am with this kind of game.  That's nothing against the game itself.  They keep the content pretty fresh.  They do a lot of updating, and I really appreciate that.  Just remember to lant things to mature at times that don't interfere with your schedule.  Don't plant things so that they need to be checked on every couple hours of your day.  you shouldn't be waking up in the middle of the night to check on your Zombie Farm.  So play smart.  It's a good game.  I think you'll enjoy it.
