You might be thinking "Hey, wait. Isn't Cat Week over?" You would be correct. But I can review cat applications whenever I want! Also, I have a few I never got to review during Cat Week. I'll be adding them in here and there.
Most people know the basic game of Solitaire. You have a deck and several cards spread out. Your goal is to get all of the cards to the top, from A to King. If you need the basic rules for the game of solitaire you can read the Wiki-How page here.
There is also a help button in the application that gives you a basic idea of how to play the game.
The "more" button on the launch page shows you more applications from this app maker.
You can see in the screen shot to the left, what the game looks like while you're playing it. it starts in default if you don't change the game play settings. Default is one card draw, infinite turn overs. You have a timer and a score. If you finish the game in a shorter amount of time you can get a better score. Also, every time you turn over the deck, you lose points. As usual.
When you complete the game the cards spread out and go away like in the Solitaire game that comes with most Windows Operating systems by default. Then you'll get a pop up with your time and end score. You can "play again" which loads a new game. Or you can "End" and go back to the launch screen.
At the bottom of the play screen you have a few buttons. This is how you change the game play options. For example, if you prefer the 3 card draw and what not. You can also end the game or start a new game for here, if you're stuck in the middle of a game. You can also undo a move if you need to (Which I personally find to be cheating, but hey... To each their own).
You can see the options screen to the left. You can turn the timer off, the score, and the card style. You can also turn off the music and card sounds.
It's a pretty simple application. The game of solitaire with a Hello Kitty card deck. Nothing to write home about. But it is free, and if you enjoy solitaire, as well as Hello Kitty, this could be a good find for you.
Keep in mind there are several Hello Kitty Solitaire apps on the app market. Not all of them are free. This is a review of 'this' particular Hello Kitty app. So as not to confuse it, check the publisher.
