Moe Omikuji

Moe Omikuji App for iPhone
This is a fortune telling application (It was just released on May 30th this year).  In Japan, this fortune telling method is called Mikuji.  You shake the container and remove a small stick with a number written upon it.  The number corresponding with a fortune.  In this application your fortune will be presented by a shrine maiden.  You will receive luck (good, bad, etc) and a lucky colour.
This is a free application.  It's cute and to the point.  however, if you are unable to read Japanese, this might not be the best choice for you.  Alternatively, if you plan to study it, this could be a good way to help you practice.  Just get a fortune every day.  Eventually you'll get used to the reoccurring kanji/kana.
There are multiple shrine maidens and multiple fortunes and lucky colours.  So you are sure to get a variety of luck.
You shake the phone and you'll hear a rattle sound from the app.  You'll see the stick pop out.  Touch it and the maiden will appear to you.
I am providing some screens (below) of a few fortunes for you.  I will also translate them, to give you a basic idea.  You can click back in the app, after receiving your fortune and try again.  But no cheating!  You can't keep trying until you get good luck.  That just wouldn't be fair, now would it?
Here are the translations (And remember, you can click the images to see a larger version).  Remember, I'm not fluent, so I may be slightly off with these translations.  The first fortune says:  "Misfortune.  Is what's on your desk or table clean (Or your desk/table itself)?" Your lucky colour is red.  The girl in the middle (Shrine maiden) says "When you are lost... Let your fortune lead you."  And the last fortune says "Excellent Luck!  You are a good listener.  Positive feedback from others will bring you confidence." And the lucky colour is teal.
I like this applications.  It's just for entertainment purposes though.  So remember not to take it too seriously.  It's a good free download for anyone who likes fortunes, horoscopes, superstitions or just likes looking at cartoon shrine maidens.
If I were to make a recommendation to the app creator, add other languages.  With this app being on the US market, not everyone in the US speaks Japanese.  It might be nice to allow for alternative languages for your fortunes.
