We all know how much I love photo sticker applications, So here's a review for yet another one!
Upon loading the application we here energetic music and see 4 buttons below, and two smaller icons above. let's start by covering the above icons.
To the left a "+" icon is seen. This is the "More applications" button and shows you some other available apps from the creator of this application.
To the right a "?" button will give you the basic information you'll need to make a picture with this app.
Now for the buttons below. The Facebook Photo button will launch your browser. You will have to log into Facebook to access the photos you have uploaded. I, personally, don't have a Facebook, so I did not use this feature.
The Gallery photo button is how you access your phone's photos to select the one you wish to decorate. You also have the option to take a new photo with the Camera photo button.
User Photos will display the photos that have been decorated by other people with this application. You do not need an account to upload photos here. Simply click the "I want my photo here" button on the top and send your decorated image via email. They will send a response to your email when your image has been approved and added to the user gallery. Browse through the gallery to see everyone's creations! You can click any of the thumbnails for a larger view. You can even download any of them by tapping the share icon. This allows you to either Share of Facebook, Save to Device or Share by Email. Keep this in mind if you decide to post your own images here. It means everyone with this application can access it, share it or download it.
Lets move on to the decorating part. You can see some of the process via the screen shots I have added below.
When you start decorating the music will change. One thing I really and truly wish they would add to this application is the ability to mute the music. After a while it starts getting annoyingly repetitive
Below we have 3 options. Frames, Stamps and Speech. The frames will go around your photo (obviously). When you click this you'll see several themes. Each theme has their own frames.. However, you only have one theme by default. the rest must be purchased separately. Your default theme has 12 frames available. They range from candy and chocolates to ice cream and sushi. So... all food related.
The stamps selection works much the same. You have one theme by default. If you wish to purchase more, you may. Your default theme has around 20 stamps. A crown, glasses, hats, character faces and flying food are some examples of what you'll get.
Speech is the last section we come to. Again, one theme by default others available through purchase. Speech are little words and phrases you can stick on the photo. They say things like "Choco Choco", "Coffee Time", "Sugar & Love", "Cute" and "Yummy". There are around 20 of these to choose from.
When you are done you move on to the icon panel on the right of the screen. The top icon is for Sharing, Clearing (Starting over) or returning to the main screen. The second arrow icons I assume are supposed to be undo and redo but they don't seem to work at all. The rubbish bin icon is for removing the selected item from the photo. Say you don't like that crown on your head? Select it by moving it a bit, then select that icon. It will go away.
I like the application. I enjoy the user gallery. The music is nice, though I'd prefer the option to turn it off. The decorations are really cute. And there is a fairly decent variety without paying. Though you may get tired of food on all your photos eventually, At this point it may come time to buy a new theme. I don't like the fact that the arrow buttons seem to be mis-coded... All in all a decent application. It's cute and fun. It's free too, so it's worth the download if you're into cute, 'sweet' photo stickers.
